East Texas is a football-rich region of the state and the 5A classification is home to some of the most storied programs.
Stretching from Texarkana to Lufkin and from Marshall to Tyler, ETX5A football is home to ten programs between the Division I and Division II districts of class 5A.
Longview, Tyler, and Lufkin are in District 7-5A along with several DFW programs in Division I, while Marshall, Texas High, Mount Pleasant, Hallsville, Pine Tree, Whitehouse, and Nacogdoches compete in an all ETX district in 8-5A Division II.
The goal of this webite is to give a place for ETX5A fans a place to share information, do a little trash talk with rivalries, but most of all collectively support one another.
Weekly schedules, weekly previews, blogs from multiple teams and fans, a forum to discuss things are just the beginning of this website.
